Rumors (Limited Slip)


I have a 2003 mustang and i have limited slip rear differential and i heard if you put it in reverse than first that it will hook and i would leave to tire marks instead of a peg leg u tried this but i was on gravel so i am not quite sure if it always works but it did that time will it always work

you have an open differential the only way to get two stripes is to open your wallet or bank... which ever has more money...

and no this doesn't work... it just skins your tires faster

so it doesnt always work i will still leave peg legs i also heard if you turn your wheel a little it works i dont care about these tires they are
Goodyear Eagle LS and they suck i was just wanting to give them a farewell

no the inside tire will spin faster, so if you quickly change direction, both will spin. you have an open differential and only spin the inside tire in turns, and in straight lines, you spin the right one

get a Posi, i did and it was worth it, i laied a 75 ft t wheel patch of rubber a few weeks back and when it shifter to 2nd it left a 10 ft patch of rubber lol it was great

Ford trac lok will install in your rear housing without having to upgrade everything. I believe the 6ers have a 7.5".

yes this does work...ive done it before...it just has to be done perfect...its not easy to do and u wont get it everytime...u can also go up a slight hill in 1st and roll back down a bit then release the clutch then gas it and they both will spin in place....

beware one wheel peels will shear your differential pins locking bolt and you will be fucked 3 ways till sunday if the spider gears seizes on the pin. i had to chop my stock diff out of the stang.

... shopping is so important when it comes to install ... im just saying that because that was an average that i saw when looking around a few weeks ago...

i got from $300 - $700 it all depends on how good you are at shopping around

well if u live in central florida some what or not far from Debary where VMP is...theres a gear shop down the street from then that does T loks and gears...for cheap
