how likely is this to happen


like a few months after i bought my mustang i blew the weld off my headers where they connect to the midpipes. the mechanic said he had never seen bolts and a weld blow off. basically i was at a stop, shifted to reverse and felt them blow. just wondering how weird is that?

it was probably its time to go...regardless of what u were doing....same thing happend with me...but it was my Y pipe that went...i was just cruising then boom y pipe split open....took the dealer over 1 month to get my shit....they got a 03 cobra H pipe and told me my part was in....after calling every other day about my V6 y pipe

nay it wasnt new ones. they were the stock ones. i put on aftermarket ones cuz the stock ones blew
