MAC Filter... Possible To Clean it?

with the MAC cai i have...is this a washable filter which I believe it is ? if so how would it be cleaned exactly...just wanna make some little adjustments before i get on the dyno moro...filter has never been cleaned and def. is dirty im sure....i was thinking just using my air compresssor and try to blow some of the dirt out...or is water a possibility ? i have no interest on getting some K&N recharge kit so thats out of the Q....

got a link to the filter?

don't use an air compressor ... you could rip the inner cotton on the filter.

water and a little oil is your best bet.

I beleive MAC uses reusable filters, I fill my sink up with warm soapy water let it soak a little while and gently scrub it, let it air dry by itself and then oil it with some K&N oil

the oil protects your engine by grabbing the small particals that the filter can't catch.

I am not sure to be honest.

best bet is to go read the back of the recharge kit and see what kind of oil it uses.

or search it online.
