Push button start


I know there was an walk through but i cannot find it and im planning to do this today does any one know where its at?? lol

im going to make it stealth start tho hide the button and completely disable the key start position so its button only just in case per chance some one tries to steal my shit lol

u guys think mounting the button on the same panel the electric seat controls are is a good stealthy spot?

dude, screw the push button start, put a kick start in it off of a motorcycle.. that'd be awesome!

and incase you didn't notice, HMUSN's link says for 96-98.. i dont know if anything would be much different though

yeah man, that'd be awesome.. and even if somebody was in the car with you, they'd never know how you cranked it..

i know it is, but with that link and the schematics from my cars ignition system i can get it done.

the link also has instructions for a 99-04 :wink


and also I believe you still need to have the key in the ignition in order to disable pats

yes i know that and to unlock the steering column lol

yeah u would still need the key in the ignition so its like whats the point ?...same thing with remote start...yeah u need a spare in the car at all times...then u start ur car from far away but u still need to have the key in the ignition when u get in to leave....i guess this help with startups in the winter...but thats about it...

meh just for the fuck of having push button and im going to disable the key start completely so u have to push the button to crank the engine.

still use the key for that but say my little brother thinks he is going to be sneaky and scams my spare and trys to take the stang while im sleeping (has happened) how he going to start it?
