Throttle Body

Can someone explain to me what a throttle body does, I know its probably simple, and also what is the stock size of a 95 V6 throttle body, and what would an increase in the size of it result in?

your gas pedal is attached to a metal line called the throttle cable.

that cable is connected to the throttle body.

it opens a butterfly valve allowing more air into the motor.

simply put.

+1, more air into your engine, the larger the throttle, the more air.

What is the largest size you can fit on a V6 and how much of an increase in horsepower are we talking here?

I wouldn't worry about it honestly man.

even the v8's done get much HP from a bigger T/B

you should be supercharged/Turbocharged to see any real gains.
