Stroking my 6er

been talking with my mechanic alot lately and he is interested in stroking my stang, he wants to get into this stuff. he is already purchasing sniper delta forces through me and he is really into tinkering. we are looking for a 4.2l crank but currently all we can find is 4.6l think this will work? i think the 4.6 is the v8 isn't it? if its a v6 crank can i stoke this bitch to 4.6l?

Yes the 4.6 is a V8 crank and you would also need rods and pistons you can find them here at the link below. There are a couple of other places also

I don't think the 4.6 crank will work for ya.

you could try shopping for Ranger parts.

Yes you would need at the minimum new pistons and crank you are using a crank with a longer stroke therefore pushing the pistons further out of the bore you would need pistons with the wrist pin moved further up to compensate for the longer stroke

You can use your rods you have now

some of the F-150's have a 4.2L v6 in it and you can use the crank in the 3.8 mustang.

You could probably offset grind a 4.2L crank to 4.6L and be pushing it, but It wouldn't be very safe!
