Cruise Control

I know this isn't a modification, but my cruise control doesn't work any more, and it's annoying. I checked all my fuses, and they are good. The switches still sound like they are "clicking" when I push them, but it just won't engage the cruise.

Any chance I can fix this with out taking it to a dealer, or blowing the air bag? IF not I'll just have to live with out cruise for the next couple of years.

well, the simplist thing you can check is to make sure the cruise control cable is still connected in the engine bay. i dont have pictures here but if i recall it runs over the engine to the TB. (but its not the actual throttle cable, obviously)

i actually did have it get disconnected once , but it was beacuasue the connector cracked against my strut tower brace when must have hit a hard bump or something..

The CC cable to the throttle body is a black coated line right next to the spring line of the throttle cable.

Yeah, I've checked that cable and it looks fine. I do remember a recall on the speed control cable several years ago, but I can't remember if I went and got it fixed then.
