where to start

I bought a 96 v6 mustang as my first car. I bought a matrix shifter knob and sparco pedals, but i want to get an intake as soon as i can. What is the best intake to get to give me the most horsepower. I want to be able to smoke all the ricers out there. thanks

Im gonna put it straight from the start....lets get this whole Ricer mindset gone...the term is overused without even knowing the true definition of it....

shifter knob in my opinion should be back to stock...if not just upgraded to a better Mustang knob not the ricer kinda like you got...Sparco pedals ? so far ur 2/2 on the ricer path.....not to knock Sparco fine racing equipment but your doing what these "ricers" u speak of are doing...a Cold Air Intake will not give you much power at all

your car makes approx. at the crank

150hp 215trq to the wheels thats about 130ish rwhp and 190ish rwtrq

which isnt much at all...and theres plenty of hondas that are just as fast as u are with there 1.6-1.8 ltr 4cyl motors which are not to be underestimated

in my opinion the shifter knob looks stupid as hell and my clutch pedal falls off sometimes so i got the pedals. second of all i do know the definition of ricer and just those mods don't mean ricer, they just mean i didnt know what intake to get. I dont even believe its possible to make a mustang a ricer in my opinion.

lol what makes me laugh is the guy put all that work and money into that whole body kit and paint and shit, and actually kept the stock rims =\

and that pink one...yeah it's really not that ricey. its just girly. If it was a different color, i actually would kinda like it, its not too over the top or anything.

on a web site i found that someone on this site suggested in a different thread i found an intake for 429 dollar that said it increased hp by 23.8. Is that a true amount...and how much would an ebay one give me. That stang with the bmw front end is jsut someone being different. I personally think it looks stupid but he obviously thinks it looks good so its a good job.

But the paint color & rims need some help!
