What do you mean by help you? The heat range of a spark plug refers to how fast the plug transfers heat to the head. Colder splugs transfers heat faster to keep the plug cooler to help reduce the chance of detonation in higher modified engines (big cam, high CR, NO2, blower) where cylinder pressures are higher than normal. Although running colder plugs is better than running a plug that's too hot.

Unless you got FI theres no reason to go colder on your plugs. Even with a tuner youre not gonna gain much.

I don't see how. You'll just carbon up the plugs leading to fouling.
