Rear seat delete?

I'm looking at a rear seat delete for my car that i'll install on the big race weekends around here. How much do you think I'd benefit in the 1/4 with this done? Is it even worth the trouble? If it could shave .3's of a second that wouldnt be so bad but i'm doubting its usefullness. Any opinions?

generally, on a 14 second car, every 100 lbs is .1 in the 1/4 off your e.t

http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...te-vt1543.html

that article is about weight reductions and how to remove the seat...

actually the original poster wanted to remove the seat for race purposes. he is looking to cut .3 off his e/t. he will more likely save .1 though.
