for quicker off the line...look into changing the gears and adding t-lock w/sct tune. for the better ride... get a takeoff rear sway bar from gt, new shocks and struts, maybe some lowering springs.

FRPP Trac Lok and FRPP 4.10:1 gears for the 7.5" rear
SCT XCal 2
Remove front sway bar, lower, shocks/struts
supercharger

Well top speed won't change much, because of physics, you can not really achieve theoretical top speed, but for acceleration, the front sway bar is just extra weight, and here is how to take it off for free in under 30 minutes. The other mods are pricey and require professional installation (except the SCT XCal 2)

You will get some body roll into turns, but the wheels stick to the pavement better and you wont plow into corners, you will actually spin the rear end all the way around more than plow through the front end. You get less weight up front, better weight transfer during launch, and after readjusting to a more sporty drive stlye, a better ride for free. You must be careful though- if you begin to lose control, you don't hit the brakes to straighten up, without a front sway bar, you must gas it and power through a spin.

Total notice. When turning left, my car dives down to the right. If I just start at a standstill, turn the wheel all the way left and hit the gas, I will do a donut without a brakestand. It is complete night/day, but worth re-learning the car.

Maybe I will take a video tomorrow of my car through a hard corner to show the drastic change

You will need a tuner (not chip) to change the gear ratio for the ecu. You can continually reflash the ecu with a tuner with future modifications. I would get a trac lok and rear end gears first.

You will need just a little bit more than 700 to complete the rear end gears/t lok. you can buy the parts all new for 700, but install of the gears at a shop is 200.

how does the sway bar removal cause you to do a donut like that? wouldnt that happen anyway?

Yes, but because of weight transfer, it is exxagerated and more easy to occur. Take off your front sway bar and go at about 15 mph and turn the wheel hard, your car body will dive down hard to one side and spin the rear around. Stock, it would plow the front tires in an understeer... removed front sway bar is actually oversteer. From a stop- no much difference- the difference is when driving.

oh yeah, i see - makes sense.

personally id rather just add a rear bar to get the oversteer, i hate body roll

I did it for the oversteer and for the weight loss/weight transfer. Adding weight to my car would only make it slower...
