electric supercharger?!?!?!

I came across an "electric supercharger" online. Im not sure if anyone has heard of them but they go for like $70 on ebay and said to increase power by 15-25hp. one guy posted a review saying he felt the increase in his GT cuz his tires would spin easier.

heres the question: Is this bullshit or worth it? $70 for about 20hp?

yes it is a diode, thats been damaged. A diode detects temperature by how much it expands and contracts thus changing the current that it lets through. The IAT is a diode as well but its functional. this "chip" however is a damaged diode that tricks the PCM into think your Intake air temp is always much cooler then it really is thus your PCM dumps more fuel into the engine causing you to run rich thats it.

This topic has come up quite a bit in the last year. From all the debates and experience, STAY AWAY from it.

Your better off strapping on a leaf blower.

guys any fan you put in front of your TB will restrict the airflow your engine draws more CFM then any electric fan will provide there for causing a restriction.
