Will it hold
Ok im new to the forum and have a few questions! I have a 2000 v6 mustang! I want to know if the stock internals will hold up any boost at all! i know these motors are built loose and there really not all that great! If not wouold it work if i took the bottom end off of a SC thunderbird and put on my motor! THanks for all the info!

ok Thank you! Does any one know if a sc thunderbirds 3.8 bottom end will bolt up to my 3.8

They will not hold much I wouldnt even try it just rebuild the motor so nothing happens down the road

yeha, a rebuild is gonna be necisary for anything over 8-10psi, if that.

omg okay... the essexs block is a beast... and the engine has a ton of trial and error ... that motor has been around for ever... and its really stout... people beat on them in the super charged thunder bird for a while... it will hold to what ever you want to through at it... you want have enough money to push that engine to its limits
