Got BORED today so i spent some money

Baught a new Cold Air Intake, the Demolet Tunable one from ebay, c & c performance, the only thing weird was i was emailed a notice saying the purchase was null or void, and i got another one saying thanks for the purchase a tracking number will be sent once shipped out... i thought it was kinda odd for the first thing i baught off ebay, im kinda confused why i got both emails, any ideas?

I think cold air intakes are scams. I bought one. I admite they look cool as shit but there is no way the give you 12-15 HP. No way. I noticed no difference in performance. But yeah it does look nice =]

well what the hell am i suppose to do now. i just went back to the ebay store and it said its closed? What do i do now, i sent the money via paypal? what happens

They are a good company to buy from...Give them a call and talk to them and they will tell ya straight up what is going on...

I dont see them producing that much but they do work IMHO...Getting air outside the engine bay had to be better then the super heated air inside the bay...

I dont get that. The stock intake ran into the fender and the CAI also runs into the fender well...???

The tunable induction does into the fender well...There is also the JLT which is the best CAI on the market evidently...But from what I have seen they do work...But I dont know about seeing 12-15 hp though...

i left a message with him and ebay support, and ill see what i get back from them about it. and then if im not sure still ill call, says they got the money and i found the site i purchased, it was at 5 before i baught mine and now its at 4 so obviously i baught it, so im not to worried about it

A week...On the CAI...

But the other day I ordered a poster off of ebay and it told me I had an error and then one email said I bought it and it was all good...I got the poster yesterday...

it one email said its null or void, cancelled and other one said i won it, and they received payment............ its wierd they need to fix that if thats just a glitch

JLT/Jay Tucker doesn't make one for the V6 Mustang, though I have asked him a few times with no success.

the oem intake tube does pull from the fenderwell, but pulls air through a restrictive filter and a smaller tube (silencer). I noticed a gain from the MAC Fenderwell Induction Kit that I installed on mine, more so after getting a SCT tune.

I believe most of the advertised CAI gains are under optimum conditions and are usually very optimistic. Small gains are expected but they are hard to detect by SOTP. The CAI will work will with other bolt-ons. Remember an engine is just an air pump. Anything done to make it more efficient will generally net you some hp.

You won't see over 4 rwhp from a CAI, but coupled with full exhaust and less restriction elsewhere, and you will see awesome gains in the long run.
