high pressure pump

if you put a high pressure fuel pump in your car, do you need to change anything else like the fuel lines, regulator, fuel rails, or injectors??

pump

well my pump blew, and my pump wasnt doing the job, my car was running lean as all hell, the cars not stock by any means, so i thought i might as well buy a better one, so i ordered the 255lph one from vmptuning but they were out of the one i ordered so they said they'll send me the high pressure pump for the same price so thats how it came about, took out my plugs they were bleach white, i had a blower on the car but ended up taking that stuff of and bulding a drag oriented 3.8 in another car, the current set up is, ported heads, cam, ported upper and lower intake, intake, full dual exhaust, bigger throttle body, bigger exhaust/ intake valves of course,MSD box, sure im missing a few more things as well but thats it engine wise, also have a stage 4 clutch kit, aluminum flywheel,8.8 rear,4.10s,steeda short throw, and i think thats it, besides the suspension work

heads and cams aren't going to need a bigger fuel pump.

I wouldn't think so anyway.

but if you want to get one you can. you don't need anything else.

and you should already have had a better pump in your car to begin with if you had a charger on it.

The high performance pumps like the 255 and 310 aren't neccessarily higher pressure. They are able to flow higher volumes at the same duty cycle as the stock pump. So they are working less (lower duty cycle) to flow more or the same at the same psi. The fuel pressure is controled in the tune. So eventhough a hi-pro pump is capable of higher pressures, it's regulated at the fuelrail.
