i am intending to run forced induction on my car and was wondering about forged internals. ive been looking at http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/p...dInternals.pdf and was wondering would i have the 3.8 long rod or just the 3.8 and are those packages all i need to run f/i

You dont need forged internals to run moderate boost with a good tune I have 97k on my stock motor and I run 10psi as a daily driver. But I am building a forged 4.2 for next year

"moderate boost" depends on the application

7psi should be fine on stock internal components

there are a ton of people running the 11psi kit on stock motors with no problems most important part is the dyno tune.

this is true. i suppose you can go higher more reliably on new edge 6ers. i forgot bout the procharger kit. The tune really can make or break a setup. you could run awesome at 11psi on one setup and blow up a car at 4psi if its not tuned properly

depends on wich pully you request with the kit, I believe they advertise 5,7 and 11 psi pulleys on there website under the 94-04 kits

so just make sure its under 9 psi with a damn good tune and ill be fine running with stock internals. would it be a good idea to get forged after a certain amout of miles travled with f/i no matter the psi?

hard to say, setups can vary by a lot. You can guarantee though it will put more stress on the motor and in turn is going to lessen its life span but trying to guess when it will eventually go is like pissin in the wind.

also on a side note, a vortech is more efficient then a procharger even without the intercooler

Do you ever get on your car?

Or do you have like no timing?(j/k)

Who tuned your car, and what do you make at 10psi? And do you have any other mods?

Nice, your motor must be one of those that ford never intended to leave the factory. Ever ran down the 1/4?
