the SVT has a 310 pump the 255 pumps being referred to are the walbro 255's

they are different systems and require different parts that is all...

while you are under there look into a new filter to just to be on the safe side

Yes it is. It was pretty easy to change the pump with the tank hanging from the filler tube (but supported with a floor jack). Take your time and keep the top of the tank clean so you don't drop sand and crap inside.
thanks for the tip!!!! ill def try that.

ps. on a side note, my car was driving fucking great today. ever since i replaced my kinked fuel line my car hasnt stalled on me at a light but even worse it died on me on the freeway

heres some pics of the sugar damage

i replaced the bucket and the pump last week. i can finally pump gas w/o it shutting off every 2 seconds. the filler neck grommet ripped a little bit in the center about half an inch. i filled the tank halfway and it leaked a lil bit. whats the part number on that grommet and is there anything i need to know to replace it?

i replaced the fuel filter today and put in a locking gas cap. in the words of Vince:

"What's more chickenshit than fucking with a man's automobile? I mean, don't fuck with another man's vehicle."
