Power Packs

Do the power packs from supersixmotorsports.com really add as much HP as they say? Its says Stage 2 adds 70, Stage 2+ adds 80, an Stage 3 adds 90. That seems a little high...but I dont know. Also if I ported my intake would it be just as good as the one the sel in the power pack?

add up to... thats with supporting mods and other such... ... if you bolt it on with nothing else you might see around 40-50 horsepower if your lucky

and if you ported your own you might be able to make the ports larger then ssms.... also if your just interested in the plenums getting ported then talk to 02ponypackage... he is starting a home porting business

and port and polished heads with rebuilt valve train...

Dude im so excited im buying the stage 3 power pack in the summer of 08 then i will add the bigger more powerful add ons

Bigger ports does not mean better. You also have to think about port velocity. With a supercharger it makes no difference, but with N/A it does.

im buying a stage 2 power pack this week! except my cam is gonna be a 218/224 w/ 112 LSA. also gotta get a good torque converter for the aod-e which i cant find anywhere

how much power you think ill see along with my other mods?

By the way you have a 4R70W, and an AODE, those only came in the 94 and 95.

stage 2 made someone 220rwhp
its about a 60rhwp gain...and that is NOTICABLE

i think they might have had the stage 2+ though

220rwhp with a tune. thats about what im making with my 3.6psi spring...
