my plans....
ok so here is a list of what i want to do to my stang w/ in the next year or so...
1. full paint job and body work $4000 2. if that turbo cam ever comes install that.. paid 4 3. dyno tune... $?? 4. 8.8 rear, 4.10, detroit true trak... $1500 5. power pak... $3000 6. board out block (4.2)...$ ???? 7. forged internals... $2000 8. get those f-ing seats installed... paid 4 9. get my sound system all fixed up (sss :wink)... paid 4 10. suggestions???? |

lose the 4.10s
get 3.31 moser 31spline axles Garret now has a Gt42R turbo for the T3 flange you have...so with the foreged internals upgrade that beast for you can do 500rwhp nicely power pak isnt $3K.. if you want next year im building my 4.2...if that goes well im gonna open a site to build 3.8s and 4.2L v6s for MUCH cheaper then SSMS and delk and good quality

yea. i mean i would start now but i wana do mine first. this way if theres a mess up its on MY engine. not anyone elses for the first. then to show as something that i can do the work. and have a working model at 500horses =)

why 3.31 gears? thats pretty close to 3.27.
and how are you funding this?

*bore it for a 4.2
more torque more displacement which equals more power... stroking would be boring and built bottom end OR some may consider it just a built bottom end.. what im guess i'd do is have people either make 2 choices...they send me the RIGHT parts. i built it or i get a block. get the parts and build then send it out

i would say look for 3.55 or 3.73's ... or even a 3.90
and def come pick me up for a ride!!

dude your getting an 8.8 anyway...the 4.10s for the 7.5 rear wont work...sorry bud but just grab some 3.55s
im sticking with 3.27 MAYBE 3.55...

ha JK bitch!! the reason 4.10s wouldn't work so well is cause you have a potential for a lot more power and torque... when you build up horse power, you can gear it down a bit to make it more comfortable to drive that way you aren't redlining and slamming through the gears
