car stuck @ 4000 Rpm

i have a problem with my v6 2003 model the engine stuck @ 4000 rpm while driving and wont go higher some people told me it is the MAF sensor any one have an idea about this problem it is really sucks

ur not giving us allot to go off of do you have a check engine light? get the codes read. what were you doing when this first happened? sounds like your TCM is in Limp home mode but i cannot be sure. more info please.

It's not your MAF. Sounds like a trany/computer management issue.

Juggs is right give us more info on when it happened and such. Give us as much info as you possibly can. It sounds like it could be in limp mode. It's a possibility. Is your cel on? What were you doing when this started?

im going to stab in the dark and say auto cuz it really sounds like a tranny issue, Specifically limp mode. probably low on fluid.

i did and it had 210k on it next closest was Alberta and FUCK that lol
