filled my car upand might have a leak??


went to the gas station filled her up and toped it off alittle and gas was coming out from he bottom like a noticible amount ook it hoome and then it driped a few more times its he hose conected tothe tank but its uptowrds the topis this caused by filling it too much??

You probably just overfilled. Are you sure that when you got home that the drips were actually gasoline?

well when itwas iddiling at my house it wasent dripping at all and when i took it around the block and came back home it dripped like three times then stoped sooo what do u think>??

Has it dripped since. I would keep an eye on it everytime you stop and check out the spot where it dripped. If it stopped then you were prob just dealing with spilloff. If it is still dripping I would have it looked at ASAP.

well when u have a spill off where would it dripp from??

The area where your filler neck is at...usually the spilloff will collect just below that area.

well if im thinking of the same spot u r thats where it is but how long do u think it will drip for if its just a spill off

All excess gasoline that has spilled off should've evaporated within the first 5 mins. So you should not be dripping anymore. If you are you've got probs.

damn i i hope its not a prob i just had exhaust put on a couple of weeks ago then filled my car last week it dident leak at all seafoamed my car yesturday then filled up 2 day and it did this

Just keep an eye on it. Like I said look in the area you were dripping at for drips and if there isn't any then all is well.
