Stroker Kits

My friend is thinking about a 4.4 stroker kit from Tom Morana. Would it be worth it to do that instead of of getting the 4.3 stroker crate engine from supersix motorsports. He only has enough for the 4.4 stroker kit but wants to put in 300 horsepower without the help of a supercharger or turbocharger

If hes going to stick n/a then sure. Hes going to need the following.

4.4L stroker kit
P&P Heads
P&P intakes
Cam
High Compression Pistons
Long tube headers
Under drive pulleys
better ignition system (plug wires, and he might want to upgrade the coil pack)
A tune
Full exhaust (def magnaflow or something straight through)[/list]
And some obvious machine work done to his block -

your not going to just bolt on a stroker kit and call it good, sadly enough. the reason the super six motors you can drop in and have 300 horse power is cause they were well built, and have most everything that SSS listed done to them
