Novi 2000 Project

I have been working on this project for over year now, but with deployments and the wife wanting to do things, I could not finish the damn thing.

I am still deployed right now but will be back home shortly, I then will be finishing the project.

The things that I have at home right now and on the way from Summit, Supersix and a couple other companies is as follows.

SFI balancer, 8-rib pullies, radiator fan, dual wide band, transmission cooler, stage 8 locking head bolts, sumped tank, twin 255 walbro fuel pumps, lines and fittings for the fuel system, two racing seats, brackets for the seats, baseline upper control arms, Pro3I lower control arms, detroit true trac and 3.55 gears.

I think thats all the parts for now.

Once everything is installed, which should be before December 1st; I'm going to have Justin from VMP tune my car.

I have a built 3.8 from SuperSix, I got to good of a deal on it to pass it up. I plan to put 500 to the ground.

very nice setup, man. im diggin the built vert. you have a ton of supporting mods too. that 500rwhp/tq and your lightweight/built setup will get you some kick-ass times! are you looking at 10s in the quarter?

or just want the one power adder

i have dreams of 10s

but i like that fact your the only v6 with a novi..takes the already quick unique v6 to another level of unique...your solo, rare, one and only. i think its cool. any underdog is my fav.....which is why im biased towards V6 and will keep my six no mater wat

i bet you wouldnt sell that stang for nuthin...or almsot nothing...

You, J, and Gary have been my inspiration since I bought my 6er in 03. It takes a unique spirit to create and assemble something that nobody has proven done before.

Matt too of course. But doesn't he have a little financial edge with Delk? There's nothing wrong with having sponsors. I enjoy sponsoring myself.

No, I missed Gary's story. I guess I have to spend more time back on v6power and 3.8 where the bigger dogs lay (or laid).

v6power is where i turned to when modding my car. the 6 community there is very professional and helpful, and if it wasn't for them, i wouldn't have attended the southern ford v6 challenge a couple yrs back.

never felt educated at 3.8...

Not big, bigger. I like this site, but v6power and 3.8 do have more v6 performance talent. You just have to stay out of the B&A section.

I'll be interested in how well that dual wideband works for you. Are you able to get an analog feed from them for dataloging?
