CNC ported heads (split-port)

so what do you think about Mik's new CNC ported head option, the first heads should start shipping in weeks?

These RPM exclusive CNC ported split port style cylinder heads offer superior flow and velocity at all valve lifts.

Heads are shipped complete with fresh valve job, milled surface, new seals and are assembled with valve springs capable of .580" lift with 130# seat pressure.

Looking for a set of heads to round out the topend of your 3.8 or 4.2L monster? Look no further.

Final flow numbers will be released in a few weeks, but preliminary flow numbers on a 3.870" bore at 28" on a SuperFlow are as follows-

250cfm @ .550" lift on intake
181cfm @ .550" lift on exhaust (without flowtube)

These heads maintain above a 70% Exhaust/Intake ratio from .100 lift up to .600 lift allowing for less exhaust bias on your camshaft. This means your exhaust valve opening event will cut into your power stroke less for improved torque and all around performance.

These heads work great with RPM's new Fast Ramp camshafts to get to your maximum flow numbers fast, but they still have excellent flow characteristics at low lift which means you have good velocity and idle characteristics. Great for turbo and naturally aspirated.

Need more flow for your street demon or dedicated track car? RPM also offers upgrades to big Ferrea stainless valves, bronze guides and options for real stud mount roller rockers.

Preliminary peak flow numbers for big valves-
273cfm @ .550" intake
214cfm @ .550" exhaust (without flowtube)

Cylinder head digitizing (programming into the computer from the basic hand ported heads) is being completed currently and should be available for ordering by August 1st, 2006. Four sets have been pre-ordered for select customers who have been patient during the digitizing process.

Introductory pricing for stock valve heads with .580" springs assembled: $1300 plus $80 core charge and shipping.
