Yeah you need to get a x or h-pipe. I would suggest an h-pipe they sound better IMHO. You might want to look at Flomaster original 40's mufflers. Most people agree they sound great on our cars. Both mac and Flowmaster make good full setups. I would start by finding a good exhaust shop near you. If you can find one that Mandrel bends their pipes then it might be your best and cheapest option to get a custom exhaust made with the mufflers of your choice (again I suggest flowmaster) If you can't find a shop with a mandrel bender then you're gonna want to buy a full setup. Another option that you have is a GT takeoff exhaust. You can find them on e-bay or at your local junkyard. No matter what, you should go on you tube and listen to exhaust setups for V6 mustangs. Make sure that you're listening to V6's because exhaust setups sound different on the GT's and cobras. That should give you an idea of what kind of setup you're gonna want. Hope this was helpful. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions

Just to clarify...You do have a Y-pipe...so you either need to buy an adapter kit for a dual exhaust. Buy an x pipe or h pipe. Or have a shop make you a custom x or h pipe

with the pipes there are
H pipes = throtier sound
X pipes = rasperyer but beter flow
and dovorced dule = to pipews runing straght back with no crosover pipe wich is fine for ur car becaus it is an even fiering engen
as for keeping it leagel that veries were u live if u have emition inspections u will need cats and all ur O2 sencers

as for other mod segestions i would say rims for ur car they realy help a lot with looks

for the audo i am not an expert but i think the car should be able to handle it but i will be more certen if u give me a more detale discrition of what ur set up will be
