differencebetween v8 and v6 cold air intakes


just wondering if the v8 aftermarket intake would fit my v6 ...

all intakes are pretty much universal, so are just bent for certain spots on cars to make its way around things

no, the tb is in a different location so the piping wont align

the v8 cai wont work bc the angle of the tb, no v6 cai will work with v8 one at least not on the 99-04 models i kno

thats the only thing that interferes with using just about any CAI

lol i know theyre in a different position but i was wondering if there a way that i can make it work .. my friend wants to swap me his k&n intake for my halos that arent worth shit so yeah ..but if not no biggy i guess ill have to settle for cash

yeah, the V8 tubing on the CAI wont fit over the TB, its way too big, i tried when i first got an intake, then i had to sell it

you prob know this and correct me if im wrong but a 94-98 v6 intake wont fit a 99-04 either.

From a tuning stand point the V8 intake would not work properly with the v6 MAF sensor.
