Cheap ass? As in a good name brand tuner for cheap? Or a cheap pos tuner? Be careful bro, as you get what you pay for.

H pipe & 40's = 5 - 10 hp.
CAI = 5 - 10 hp.
UDP's = 5ish hp.
Tuner/chip = another 10ish hp.
Autostick - 0hp.
Steeper gear = better acceleration due to torque multiplication factor, not aded hp.

Going to 4.10's would be about a 27% increase in tq

+1

you wont see much in gains from any single bolt on mod, but add them together and get a dyno tune for maximum results

I would not put much faith in any claims a CAI has that does not need a Tuner (i.e. SCT, Predator, Superchips) for it to work properly (i.e. TI, JLT, C&L, or something like those). If it does not drawn in enough air to change the MAF sensor reading than it only flows as good as the factory one. IMO

the MAF reading is what tells the computer to deliver more fuel to match the more air being delivered. you only need a tune if things are drastically changed. you will see gains (2-3rwhp tops) from a cai, but they will not be as noticeable as if you have a bunch of bolt ons then a dyno tune.

MAF is sensitive u could have a dirty fart by ur intake and it could effect it. thats why we always say keep ur MAF clean especially if your have a K&N air filter. i cleaned my maf and i noticed a small maf voltage increase at WOT.
