How many of you plan to make the race in Al next spring?

made it to SGMP a couple years back, but being in college with no money - well i wont be there this time. everyone should check it out though! grear racing and some badass v6's

i thought it was in georgia...
im highly considering going...but its like a 14hour drive. and that im worried about

i wana go bad though

i drove about 4+ hours to SGMP in 2006, but through it on a trailer and drive 14! we have to see that turbo in action. p.s. it was bracket racing, so you need to be consistent

They try and move the race around so the same people don't have to drive forever and a day.

yea. if i went i'd make lots of runs at the local track get as consistent as possible

hoping for a mid 12 with 10psi tuned. and drag radials

with aluminum drive shaft and suspension i might hit low 12s
depending if i port my intakes i'd hope on a flat 12

also weight would for sure be taken out for the race.

jack, spare, rear seat, passenger seat and sway bar.

If i can manage to save up enough $$$$ to trailer the Stang to AL, I may try to attend.

You know that you want to make it. You can make the trip in two days if you like. First half you can come by my house and then the next day we will roll up there. I can have other people meet up as well, have a caravan.

I live in the panhandle between Panama city and Pensacola.

I don't race on the street, so you don't have to worry about that. I just set the cruise about 8-9 over the limit.

my cruise control doesnt work...thanks to the throttle spring being so dam hard.

im considering in the future fixing up the cruise control to be a nitrous set up.
on off. spray...etc

and hide everything

yea thats originally what i wanted to do before turbo...for like a day...i went through fazes of all motor,...s/c, nitrous turbo...finally chose one =)

i still wana do an all motor v6 on a fox. with a 150shot or 175...just to beat SSMS =)
my goals are to break other people times...
like at 500rhwp beat J...
or 450 if i can

6psi beat SAIs 13.4
10psi beat the 12.7 slip by andy...that one not so much because if andy had more time he could reached lower for sure

at 450rwhp i wana do 10.90 to beat vmp.
that'll be VERY hard though

I'm trying to be the fastest 3.8 supercharged. Should not be that hard since everyone else has gone turbo or 4.2.
