Well i drove it a little bit today and it wasnt doing it so i dunno what it was. Might be a rocker. My car is in dire need of an oil change. According to the sticker it hasnt had one in over a year. I cant afford to have it done right now so i'm tryin not to drive it very much.

If it is just a leak is there any reason to be concerned? It's not going to screw up more if i drive it will it?

exhaust leak wont cause any more damage, just noise. Why dont you change the oil yourself? and if it hasnt had an oil change in over a year thats not good for the engine man, i would do that ASAP, even if you have to do it yourself, cause right now your asking for trouble

ya i always change mine every 3 months or 3000 miles whichever comes first cause i like to take care of my stuff, and you could go a little longer then that no problem, but a year????? WAY to long

ok first thing is first GET SOME DAMN MONEY AND CHANGE YOUR DAMN OIL hahaha secondly the clicking noise is an exhuast leak from your exhuast manafold. our cars are netourious for having hair line cracks in them. i had that same problem and that fixed it. if your car is having trouble starting , then you should do this in the following order

clean your battery terminals of any corrosion
then check you battery with a volt meter it should say 12.6 or something close
if its good do a voltage drop and an amp reading on your alternator

most of the time all it is is a bad battery. in the most extreme cases your brushes in your alternator could have gone bad. they should be changed every 60,000 thousand miles.

also do a voltage drop on your starter solenoid and make sure its getting the right amount. and that it is not worn out.

any of these can cause your car to start rough. and the clicking noise is definetly a exhuast leak.

LOL yeah a year is a long time. I've only had the car about 4 or 5 months and it's sat in the yard most of the time because it needs a good bit of work and since i cant find work in this back water town money is tight. I'm going to have the oil changed in the next few weeks hopefully and the injectors and everything cleaned.

The battery terminals look like they could use a cleaning so i may do that tomorrow but i'm pretty sure my alternator is going back cause of the sound it's making. Probably wont get it all fixed til tax time or until i can find a damn job.

I thought my mustang would get me women and popularity but all it has done is break *sigh* Ah the dreams lol j/k

thanks for the imput guys

if you don't get them fix or replace them they will get worst and it will click when you are just idling. I hated it and got JBA headers. I love them.....
