Car Vibrates when I stop!?

I just replace my headers with JBA headers and now my vibrates when I stop at a light or stop sign. the rpm some times drop to 500. I have 2001 v6 mustang. it has 93000miles on it. I also replace the fuel filter today so it isnt that. Could it be the O2 Sensors or something else?

Is it like a tapping sound or truly a vibration?

it is either your clutches throw out bearing or your motor mounts could be wearking out. 93000 miles your gonna run into some things like that. also check you alternator because if your brushes are gone in it it could be running really rough. as for the headers though. that shouldn't be whats causing it. if they were leaking you would hear a clicking noise when you get on the gas. not so much of a vibration

yup but when we installed the headers we found out that two wires where not in right place. Could the spark plugs be foul and cause the problem. the car runs fine when driving it or when it is in park or neutral.

if the plugs were fucked or in the wrong places it wouldn't cause vibration it would cause the pistons to fire wrong and you would really notice than. alot more than the vibration your talking about. but seriously look at your motor mounts and clutch if you have a 5 spd. when you replaced the headers did you make sure they weren't touching anything, and make sure they aren't making the exhaust pipe touch anything

yup i was right its your transmission. its automatic then it might need to be rebuilt. well probably not rebuilt but at least serviced. and if the plugs were wrong then it wont vibrate. the whole car will shake violently and so bad that you'll turn it off imidiatley. all of your plugs are different and work a specific way for each one. so if there on wrong then you need to fix that fast. befor you cause real damage. also im not trying to scare you or anything. but if you keep running it with the plugs wrong something will get damaged

no but I found out that the egr tube is not fully tighten. like the nut is not flush with the valve. see this all happen after putting the headers in, so why would the Transmission mess up all of a sudden right after we put in the headers.

Finally someone else with the same damn problem. Car idles just around 600 rpms and vibrates like a small cam lol. And I can't explain it. Drives fine... Mine goes away and comes back during driving. Does turning your a/c on make it worst? Mine does.
