Long tube headers require an h pipe which doesnt have cats, you cant get long tubes with cats because they wont fit meaning long tubes take up the space where they would go

welcome to the boards TARD!

your k member wont work with the longtubes... you might be able to grab a K member out of a hard top... or get one from UPR that is meant for racing and what not, it will fit with that i believe ask UPRmarc if you are interested in it

WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!

The longtubes will fit a convertible. I had the Mac on mine until I switched to stainlless steel. The only thing that it may it is the extra brace attached to the K-member that us verts have. I removed mine so I really cant say.

Bottom line is that they will fit. If your going to do shorty headers you will be better off just keeping your stock ones, as you will not notice much of a gain at all.

shorty headers don't do any thing different from what you have now, don't waste your money getting them if your going to spend money get the long tubes. i was looking into all this for my stang i just haven't had the time or money to do it yet.

With modification... if you got to chop your K member up i would be hesitant on doing it... the brace is there for a reason... why? you don't have a strong lateral support...

I didn't chop anything. The brace was bolted in.

if you want i can hook you up with a guy i know that can get you a deal on them ... not much but still
