broke something

I have flowmaster 40 dual exhaust with no connectors (2.5") and recently, there's been some nice rattling noise under the drivers side seat, underneath the car from 2k rpms and lower (from what i noticed). Possibly a cat or two, or the muffler? i'm not sure, anyone know which one is most likely to go first?

the exhaust is barely a year old, and when we did it, we welded the pipes together, in my opinion it sound like a rattling sound... its really hard to describe it... the pipes arent hitting, and its annoying.

welds break. even after a year. it could be an exhaust leak if it is a clicking sound that gets louder as you accelerate slowly. or your hanger(s) might be loose. or it could even be suspension related. does it only happen as you accelerate or hit the gas? or does it make the noise when you coast down hills?
