ok so this is the third time its happened..
ill be driving..2 times down the high way and once about 5 min ago..
when the car starts bogging..like if i were to have the A/C on or something..
but it boggs..then eventually it just dies..like bogs and when i press the gas..it doesnt accelerate so after i pull it over everything is still on..my brights..radio..subs..four-ways..
so its not my alternator..
so maybe a fuel pump...i hope not =[

the car will start back up after a few minutes

did you check the alternator and battery to see if they are holding charge and remaining charged? just because it starts back up doesnt mean it isnt going bad.

it sounds like its lacking gas... thats what cars do when they run out... they bog when you gas it and just flat out suck nuts...

you should check all your wiring and such... check the grounds and shit for your fuel pump and what not... see if something is going on there... also change your fuel filter

for the fuel pump?? just check all the connections that you can see and fell under the car... DO NOT drop the tank or anything... to big of a pain just to check something... but just look over the wires to make sure nothing is loose

This could be bad gas. Where do you normally buy your gas? If it's from some shit hole, try a different place, and run premium in it for a couple tanks. WHil doing so, try adding something like STP water remover, and then add some STP fuel injector cleaner. Don't put both in at once. Fill up the tank, then add the water remover. Run the tank down, fill it back up then add the fuel injector cleaner. With both products, put the entire bottle in to a full tank of fuel.

It's also possible that you have a bad fuel filter. Try replacing that if the above doesn't fix your problem, since it's a cheap fix.

If that doesn't fix it, it could be the fuel pump as already stated here. It could also be a bad injector.

It's also possible that you have a bad coil, although the symptoms you describe lead me to believe it's the fuel system.

Does the car otherwise run perfectly other than when it's misbehaving? Or have you noticed this coming on gradually, or noticed an increase in fuel consumption, and a loss in power?

well i think it was the gas..
i went to the gas station and put some gas in it..
and its running now....
so idk my gauge is messed up ..
how about fixing that?

Are you sure your gauge is messed up? If so, could be a bad ground, as someone stated here, or it could be the sending unit in the tank. Which is a pain in the dick to replace.

its a relief
i mean this morning i started it and drove about three houses down and it died..
and started right back up but as soon as i pulled back in my driveway it died..
so i took my moms car and got some gas
came back put it in my car..and i took it out and ipened it up cuz i was pissed..aha
and its fine now..
but my gauge reads i have a lil under a quater tank..and i put ten in on sunday..and maybe went...no more then 70 miles on the 10 running errns
