so can you give me details ? it means basically just pipes without anything between them like cats/mufflers? doesnt that mean i get no back pressure?

all u need to get is some LT's then get maby a foot of pipe bent so that it goes straght from the colecter on the header to the side of the car
that way exaust gases dount build up under ur car

true you would have like no backpressure but it would be loud, like i said if you get some strait through mufflers it would be louder

to pass emmisions you need cats, either stock or hi-flow cats, and stock or shorty headers, and mufflers of your choice, with L/Ts you will fail same without cats=fail

No mufflers and not cats would sound horrible -

You can try Long tubes, aeroturbine, and hi-flow mini cats which would probably give you a good sound but not loud.

PyPES also makes a mid muffler system that you might want to try.
