i want a gt hood scoop for my 01 6er but the probelm is my car is yellow i live in a small town and its hard to find a yellow mustang to take it off of like at a junk yard....i was wondering if im better off just getting a hood and having it painted and i dont really want to spend more thne $400

if you can find a cheap hood and a paint shop to do it then go for it, or you could just buy the scoop and put it on

ya how is find in a scoop and painting it not an option if u are thinking of geting a new hood and painting that as an alternitive

also u could get a black hood scoop and just leve it
that way it looks like ur cat came wit ha scoop and u had it costom painted

take it off, sell it on ebay or craigslist, buy a black spoiler and put it on

but wont i have to fill in the old holes? b/c the gt spoiler doesnt fit directly?

oh, well in that case i think the holes are different, im not sure i guess you would have to get them filled, and drill new holes for the GT spoiler

whats a good site to find a spoiler? i looked at mr bodykit and are all spoilers that expensive?

ya for 03/04 he has an 01 and is talkin about putting a 03-04 spoiler on it if im not mistakeing

you are correct.
I had a 2001 v6 and a 2001 GT.

they have the same spoiler

well not particurally an 03-04 just one that would look good but not ridiculous on my 01
