Dream Come True!

Hi everyone I just wanted to say how thirlled I am finally being on this forum.....since yesterday was the greatest day of the life thus far....i finally got my mustang that I've been dreaming about since I was a kid. Its a 02 V6 beautiful ferrair red paint, last night I slept in it since I was tossin and turnin in my bed :wink . Any who I was wondering what I should be doing now, I got it from a dealer auction with green light and everything sounds ok so far, I am checking the VIN today. But is there anything that I should do right now or any tips that you guys advice for me to do since I just got this car and want to keep it really really well mantained. I want to get a cold air inducation kit first but before I go over board are there certain things I should be doing to make sure everything checks out first. I called a local dealership already and they said that there are no recalls on this car. So any advice would be asewome...anywho hope to learn lots about my new pony but right now I am taking it for a drive its already 7:00am.....peace out!

Just check the vin, see how she drives, check fluids, check for noises while driving stuff like that. A car that is properly maintaned stock car is by far better than a modded car that is not maintaned at all. So just think how great a properly maintaned modded car is. Awesome catch on it, and yes we will want pictures of the car as well.

Welcome to mm as well.

Welcome and congrats on your first pony. I would reccomend (like the guys said) A Haynes manual first and then from there depends on the function of the car. If it is a DD(Daily Driver) then you will want to go with mods that do not hurt the drivability and fuel management of the vehicle. If you want to make it a "torquemonster" (he he) then you can get a little crazy with the mod list.

Once you have pics uploaded onto the internet put these tags around it, and also remember the tags don't have spaces in them place url here no spaces between url or tag either

cold air intake(perfect first mod) ebay-$50 or less, K&N $170 about
