It'll be about like driving a boat on water, you should leave it on unless it's a frequent drag car.

with stock suspension keeping it on is probably a good idea, but on AB's car which has lower and stiffer springs when he took off the front sb his car's handling characteristics actually got better(but that doesnt mean they are as good as they could have been with after market sb's, at least it will never understeer again! lol) in addition to better wieght transfer.

due to his lower and stiffer springs his bodyroll is not excessive at all in my opinion (of course my SAAB is a light wieght fwd car with highish clearance and no sb's to speak of for obvious traction reasons)

Took mine off over a year ago. Mine is not a dd so that does make a difference. It is a bit mushier than it was but I have it lowered on H&R Supersports and Tokico Illuminas so it is pretty well mannered. Does launch better without the sway bar. I would put it back on before doing any road racing.

i took it off just to see how the car would handle and with stock springs there was way to much body roll.. i put it straight back on..
it did launch better off of the start though.

I would not recommend removing the front sway bar for daily driver cars...

Becuase not having that sway bar adds way to much body roll to the car...To easy to over correct and mess your car up...I have heard of people rolling there car over becuase of the ammouont of body roll...Unless your car is a drag car then I would leave it one...Take the rear one off if need be...But I would leave the front on...

the v6's don't come with a rear swaybar... if your looking to lighten your front end, try relocating the battery to the trunk they weight about the same.

was fords way to save a dime, the v6 has the holes for the bolts and everything, it bolts right up... I am using a 93gt sway bar for my 99v6.. the 93gt's front sway bar was larger too...

stock front: 27mm (1.06")
93 gt front: 33mm (1.30")

stock rear: none
93 gt rear: 21mm (0.83")

you can sell it for a v6'er to upgrade with, i wanted new upper and lower control arms, but got them really cheap from rick so i couldn't pass them up, it helped tons in autox... i was able to beat stockish gt's in my same class. i did lower it, with tokico shocks and struts and tweeked my caster/camber, stock wheels/tires.

Yeah I gave my rear sway bar away to a guy at the shop that said he wanted it for his 96 GT...I also gave him the quad shocks...Oh well...I got my upper and lower tubular control arms NIB for $80...It raised my rear-end up about 1/2 inch when they were first put on now they have settled and are only about 1/4 inch raise...I pretty much have a steeda suspension set-up minus the rear sway bar...
