05+ V6 VS 05+ V8

im new to the forums so sorry if i posted this in the wrong place. But here is my question. I have an 05 v6 automatic, as of now i have put dual flowmasters exhaust, and i have a x-cal 3 tuner from bamachips coming in this week with the 93 octane performance, torque and race tunes on it. as soon as the tuner comes in im having some 3.73 gears added on with a ford racing posi. traction lock. What other types of mods will i need to be able to keep up with or beat a stock v8 in a race. the reason im asking this is because theres this guy in my town that has a v8,and even though i give him his props, he always results to talking crap about my v6. so i want to be able to smoke him and shut him up,haha.

no. not really.

and I'm not saying that because of the whole "I have a GT" thing.

I had a 2001 GT and a 2001 V6.

good idea.

don't let that discourage you man.

there are plenty of very fast v6 mustangs out there.

i mean like running 9's in the 1/4 fast.

it just takes money.

as long as the nitrous has nothing to do with the work being done on the car they can't say anything that's like saying your dual exhaust fucked up your radio.
