rear end


wheres the best place to get a new 9 inch rear end and how difficult is the install i've been lookn at mosers but i just wanted any suggestions, i need it because i plan on putn a v8 in it later in life with alot more hp in it

How much hp? 8.8 should hold quite a bit....

dont drop an 8 into your car, save up and when the time comes sell your sixer and just buy a gt or cobra

yea putting a v8 in there isn't worth it just sell the 6er and get a gt

edit-nevermind i reread the post, your better off selling the 6 and just buying a GT

buying the gt is only cost efective if you don't plan on having a built v8 because then u will hav ejust as much work and it will probraly be cheeper.

i plan on dropn a stephen morris racing engine in it, so even if i got a gt everything would have to be redone anyways suspension, drivetrain, interior etc...

how is it still cheper on a gt if the car costs more and he still has to replace evry thing any way

speedwaymotors.com has 9" rear ends don't know the price but they got them

get an 8.8 with moser 31 spline axles and an auburn diff.

I agree with this, you'll spend a lot trying to get the car up the task of supporting a V-8 unless your just going to build it into a track car, and I do mean a trailered race car.
