Proboost Platinum racing chip installation

Here a a few pics of the chip i installed today, only problem is i'm not sure if i installed it in the right place...I have a few pics here hoping you could tell me if that looks right or not, input would be appreciated. It said the following:

These instructions are generic to most vehicles. You may have to do some searching to find your IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sending unit is located. It is usually located in the Air Intake Tube (where the air flows into your engine) or it may be located in the intake manifold, or right around your throttle body. It should be a connector /plug with two small wires going to it, and a clip on the side of the plug.

1. Locate the IAT Sensor plug.

2. If it has more then 2 wires, thats not it.

3. Unplug IAT sensor by lifting up the tab on the side of the plug and pulling the plug off.

4. Put the two wire ends of the PROBOOST into the two open holes located on the IAT plug. (The end with the wires) Put one wire into each hole. Gently push it all the way down, but dont force it.

5. Remove sticker off the mounting tape located on the back of the PROBOOST. Mount with the adhesive so that its away from a heat source, in a clean and dry location.

6. Leave plug disconnected and secure the loose plug with electrical tape so it doesn flop around or get into the fan.

7. Reconnect your battery.

Now I know you will say...well I don't know does it feel faster? Well it does, but that could also be placebo effect, just wondering if this looks right..I tried to take good pics so it gives you an idea of where i Installed it, hope you can help, thanks![/img]

I hope you're able to help me out, and if this isn't the right spot could someone please help me out with this, thanks. If this doesn't look right and you need another pic of some sort to help identify or conclude please tell, and thanks again. Help would be greatly apreciated or input, if you will...

yes that is your IAT sensor, but I would highly advise on not using that device to trick your cars computer, and would remove it at once if it was mine. if you want a real computer device either look into getting a SCT chip or buying a SCT XCAL, one of our Authorized Vendor's VMPTuning offers a wide range of legit products. i wish you would of posted this up in your other thread before you bought it (probably from ebay?)

woah this is a year old...

that kid hasn't been around since before i joined...

and i want to tell you know i have friends... with imports... that tried this and they have gotten bad results... one was even unfortunate enough to load a tune onto their car while this device was installed and it messed up her ECM... she had to get the whole thing reset
