Okey so for those of you who havent read any of my posts lately i just dropped in an f150 4.2 with a 224/224 cam, heavier springs, longer pushrods, hand ported and polished heads and intakes, sniper tuner, longtube headers, h pipe, mac catback, and posi rear end with 4.10 gears. This monring i finally got to drive the car after not having any vehicle of my own for 3 months, and let me tell you it was great. The car runs and idles kind of rough but most likely thats just because it has been tuned yet. It also has an exhaust leak on one of the headers gaskets, but i will be replacing those with copper gaskets. I also plan on getting the car dyno tuned sometime next week, i have a 25% ud pulley coming this weekend, and a cold air intake on its way as well. As for right now the car is very slow from a dead stop ( i belive it is slightly flooding or something right away and the dyno tune should take care of this). Once it gets to about 2000 rpms though the car really takes off. i just thoguth id let you guys know that i finally finished my car/

do you have a wideband ? are you noticing any black smoke out the tail pipes when you first give it alot of throttle ?

thats cuz your gonna need a higher stall torque converter with that cam. the dyno wont fix that

def add a stall converter on to your list of things to get...

its great that you finally got your car up and running... also i think that you should look into getting some upgrades for your fuel system

Sorry for the thread jack... I know A LOT of people on here want the true story about everything with me and GF. Well, here it is.

A LOT OF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO KNOW ABOUT THIS....TOUGH SHIT...

First off. I've been in court ordered rehab. I did own a 97 mustang. No, it's not the one in my avatar. It was a dark green 97 convertible. I wont go into what mods it had, because, honestly, it's not worth it due to the fact that I do not own it anymore. Sold it to some lady in Sterling, Virginia.

Secondly, I threw you guys a lot of shit. 95% of the crap I told you was bullshit. But, hey, I was an alcoholic, and that's what we do. This is what was true:

I DO have a State Farm Office
I Did NOT back out of the deal with Elliott (GF)
I DID have a mustang
In fact, I had two.

I still have the 75 that I bought from turp.

Here is the story on the deal with GF.

I offered him a 16k sponsorship. Obviously he was skeptical. So, his dad called me. I talked to his dad about the whole deal. Afterwards, he wanted to speak it over with his lawyers, and show his lawyers the contract. That took 3 months to complete. While I was getting everything in order on my end, Elliott was getting things in order on his end (getting estimate of work to be done). This was going to happen. There are two reasons why it didn't happen.

The first main reason.

JUST THE PARTS for the setup were going to be in excess of $20,000.00 With labor, we were sitting in the neighborhood of almost 30k.

I was only willing to sponsor 16, because thats all I had available to me at the time. To cover the difference, Elliott and I had a conversation with State Farm to see if they could do anything. They said that they would sponsor up to 10k.

About 1 month later, Elliott calls me and said that he could not go through with the sponsorship. his dad told him no. The reason his dad said no was because of distance to work. Elliott would be destroying his bank account with gas. And, he had better things to worry about....school. The other reason was insurance. I was requiring him to get insurance on his car to cover theft or damage to the aftermarket parts....which is NOT unreasonable at all.


Here is why I have not been around here in awhile... After my accident, I started drinking a little more. I was down at the bar one night with a couple of friends and we obviously were drinking. This guy pissed me off by cutting in front of me while I was standing at the bar. I didn't think twice and swung at him......He was a cop. SOOO, I got ordered to 4 months in White Deer Run up in allenwood, pa. and right now 6 months of outpatient.

Hope this clears up a lot. Sorry about all the bullshit before.
