gut out my cats


if i gut them will it affect the way my car drives? it doesnt have to pass emisions just the visual inspection.

it wont affect it?? Come on H when you open it up just a tiny bit you know there is going to be a tiny bit of change even if its not noticeable...

if you do gut your cats what you need are MIL eliminators... i got mine from v6mustangstuff.com i think ...not sure

honestly i like running the high flow cats. my buddy was doing dynos in his class the other day and he got a better sound and just a little bit of better air flow than straight pipes. but for that you need sensor extendors for them

that's because your engines are tuned for backpressure, eliminating it with a straight pipe would lose you some power

that's why you get better numbers from high-flow cats and a good muffler, unless you'd rather get a tune
