snow is on its way...


i found a pair of studded tires on craigslist. but they come mounted on 96 mustang rims. not sure if they will fit tho. do you guys know if these will fit, i have a 2003.

They should fit fine, 96 and '03 is practically the same car, just different body styling. I don't actually know this for a fact but I'm thinking the wheels should be the same fit.

They'll fit fine, even though those are the stock wheels from a 94 or 95 v6 mustang.

sweet. thank you guys. im gonna go pick them up tomorrow, sat afternoon. i think they are a pretty good buy, since i was quoted for studs for $700 bucks. il take em for 300.

you should just go for a winter beater. i bought some tires last year and still hated driving my stang in the winter so i bought a beater for 500$.

That's the best way in my opinion. I bought an old pos 89 Grand Marquis for 250 bucks, and I already have 1 winter out of it. Just go out and look for something ridiculously cheap with good tires on it that runs well. At a couple hundred bucks, it's practically disposable, and even if it only lasts a winter or two, who cares.

Yeah totally man. My last car, a Focus, was covered in surface rust underneath after just one hard winter. My Stang, after having been put away and only being on the road for 2 summers, doesn't have one ounce of corrosion underneath it yet. It makes a huge difference.
