Gears. The install will be about that much too depending where you go, but gears are the best bang for your buck, and your gonna need your speedo recalibrated.

A throttle body won't help you out if your intake manifold can't take any more air in. Also you won't net the gains with a throttle body like you would with gears.

Welcome to the boards.

Use the search function, and check up on all the bolt ons that most people put on their sixxers.

CAI
Exhaust
Gears
Tune
Underdrive Pulleys

Those are good to wake your car up a bit, with some added acceleration and power.

You may net some gains from one, but not a significant amount. Also intake manifolds for the v6 are few and far between, and also depending on your application most of the time are unecessary. Now if you want to stay n/a and you want full bolt ons then go for one, but you won't get the full potential out of it without at least a porting job on your intake manifold. Also depends on if were talking about the v6, GT, Cobra, etc. The manifolds on the GT are very wel designed and you can benefit from a throttle body without a new intake manifold.

What are you looking for out of your v6?
