Tunning with your laptop??


I heard someone say that you can download a tunning program on your computer and get a special cord that allows you to plug it in to your car. Anyone know anything else about this or have any experience with it?

it's called an XCAL with live load software , (or sniper and whatever they use) a usb cord and a laptop.

the software is *cough* free *cough*
and you can get sct's at www.sctflash.com
it's called live load.

but your not doing anything without a tuner.

a tuner new is around $380.00

so if you need a tuner anyway is there any advantage you get from the live load?

it shows live data.

basically you don't need the lap top if you get live load.
