First Mods for a V6 stang

I bought a 99 v6 mustang its a 5 speed and was wondering what should be my first mod for power i don't think i should put a cold air intake as first mod because everything is stock and just wanted to know what my first mods should be.

as mentioned price range and h.p goal..

very cheap first mod would be ebay CAI (50$ and it does the same as a K&n would do)

i was hoping for my first mod to be under a $1,000 but i do want something that i would notice in power

I' say

do a port polish get a bigger throtle body (65mm) dual exhaust and a SCT or Sniper Tuner

you see the exhaust was redone it has a x pipe but the guy i got it from took the catalyst out not sure what brand is the exhaust. and how much would it cost to change the gears to 4:10s or 3:73s.

gears and tlok depends on shop u should do it both same time because those two parts are located rigth aside from each other thus lowering labor cost..

buy the parts online (give me a few minutes to find the link)

it would be 400 or more depending on shop...

OMZ if u read it i think u got the link that has the 4.10s FRPP gears at very low price for the 7.5 and the tlok.. so post it..

RPMoutlet has a history of poor customer service , check with Summit or Jegs , or GEFracing.com which is Gene Evans Ford a dealer in GA that has a good reputation for good customer service and good pricing as well .....another place with good prices and good service is www.buyfordracing.com

i go on american muscle and i have ordered from rpm and i got what i needed lol but i guess it has done that to some pple i have mainly been goin on american muscle and jegsperformance

yea, american muscle is pretty good. dont know who had used [url]www.stangmods.com before but they are pretty good and cheap. have a lot of cool things on there also
