Bad Gas Mileage, Need Help

alright im getting around 15 mpg and that is bad. i was getting 17-18 a couple months ago. i changed my oil 2 weeks ago (which is fully syn), fuel filter was changed 10,000 miles ago, cleaned air filter 2 weeks ago, cleaned maf like 1 month ago, the iac was cleaned 2-3 months ago, i checked the air pressure in all the tire two weeks ago too. i dont kno what else to do to get better gas mileage. it seems like all of sudden my car started getting crappy gas mileage. any recommendations? btw the weather got cooler here so i should be getting even better gas mileage but thats not happening.

i put seafoam in about a week ago ... and im sitting at about 250 at a quarter tank left... its a little lower then normal but thats okay cause i also got so much increase in the smoothness of the engine... it accelerates and sounds better...

1 oz per gallon is the rule on that

the smoke is coming from the vacuum dealio... what happens there is the seafoam burning in the cylinder causes the seafoam to break up the carbon faster

I'm having a similiar problem, except my ride is brand new. I have about 1,200 miles on it. I'm wondering if maybe I'm driving in the wrong power-band. I usually try to keep it in the 1,500 RPM range, and I drive in 5th gear as much as possible. Which is sometimes when I'm doing maybe 45-50 mph.

decarbon yur intake and ijectors by running seafoam through your vac line.

replace the spark plugs.
clean your IAC
reset your adaptive memory
check your tire pressure

And get your codes read even if its something minor.

you dont always get a cel light

you can put the stuff in right before you fill it so that way it can mix if you want or w.e it doesn't matter as long as it goes in ...

new car dude... don't be in 5th if you accelerating ... its not very helpful... but cruising in 5th is just fine
