#6 Cylinder Missfiring On My 94... HELP!

I own a 94 v6 and yesterday morning i went to work and it was running like shit. I got to work and the check engine light came on and it smelt like gas bad and white smoke was pouring out of my tailpipes. I had a friend check it with his code reader and it said i had a #6 cylinder missfire. We took the plug out and checked it and it was fine. Ran the computer on it and it cleared the code and it started up fine but when i went to leave it acted up again. Any ideas on what it could be or how to fix this? Thanks guys!

im thinking more along the lines of head gasket time

your year v6 is notorious for headgasket problems, and it seems like a headgasket leak to me.

could be PCV issue as well or bad plug/wire. but AB is right head gaskets are notorious on your year.

your not burning all ur fuel and, so bad plugs/wires. but white smoke is a sign of a bad head gasket and im betting thats it.

yeah, white smoke is uncombusted fuel. it could be something simple like the plugs/wires, but check your coolant- thats the first sign to headgasket issues.

wise words. check the oil for coolent (will be airated and turn rusty color) and check the coolant for lo level and oil in it. sounds to me u have a misfire caused by a leaking gasket. this explains the unspent fuel and the miss.

alright cool thanks alot guys! i talked to my step dad and said to maybe check my coil pack and see if maybe the the number 6 is out on that and to do check my system by taking my radiator cap off and starting to see if it bubbles out and to get some sealant called Dike? And if it is my coil pack is it more sensible to get an OEM replacement or something like Screamin Demon if its around the same price range?

its a bad wplug wire and gasket which happends after a while i've bought cars for like 300 bucks because people didnt know what was wrong with them and they wanted to get rid of them turns out all it needed was a head gasket.

Dude one cylinder missing wont make it run so bad your pushing smoke and milky oil = bad. Hint dont drive your car and get that head gasket replaced cyl 6 will be on your drivers so you may get lucky and only have to replace one but IMO do both.
