Parked For The Winter Questions
well its time to put the car away for the winter so i got a cover for her and im going to let her sit in the drive way is there any thing i should do to the car to make sure she will be ok when its time to take her out again.

as stated.. fuel stabilizer is a good idea.

Fill the tank.
Change your oil & oil filter. Add Stabil Fuel stabilizer. Put your cover on - make sure the car is clean first. IF you're not going to start it and move it around at all, as stated above, get the car in the air to avoid flat spotting the tires. I don't do this because I take my car out every 2-3 weeks and put a few dollars of fresh fuel in it. This gives it a run, keeps the tires from flat spotting, the brakes from seizing up, and keeps fresh fuel moving through it. |
