i didnt change nething. just bolts right on. besides new edge VR is located in the pcm so there is no way im pushing all 300A out the pcm is probably only calling for 100A. only reason i got the mondo alternator is cuz i was going to throw a 1000w amp in there and run some subs but instead i sold it to my lil brother and he put it back in the sunfire.

Depending on what amp, 1000 watts isn't anything for the stock charging system. If you still have the stock wires then your not getting anywhere close to what you should be
